About the International Convention Centre

Durban, aside from being South Africa's most popular holiday destination, is also the home of the most successful convention centre on the African continent.

Opened in 1995 it is currently (2003) being almost doubled in size.

Major recent conferences include Inaugural International Envirolaw, African Union Summit, Deepak Chopra, Travel Indaba, World Conference on Racism and the International AIDs Conference.
